Wine Review: This clear and white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc from Emmolo opens with a fragrant yellow grapefruit and lime zest bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, slightly lush, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a passion fruit and Meyer lemon blend with notes of mild tonic water and honeydew melon. I also detected hints of lime zest. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. This Sauvignon Blanc is quite a crowd-pleasing quaffer. With food I would pair it with broiled scallops. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Guided by the idea that "less is more," this wine is dry and fresh, with crisp fruit flavors and bright minerality.
