Wine Review: This dry style Petit Manseng from Virginia displays a deep golden yellow color and has a very interesting bouquet which includes pineapple, peach, zesty lime, fresh sawn oak, ground coffee beans, and honeysuckle. The palate is super smooth and supple, with medium body, and lifted medium plus acidity. It is elegant, nicely balanced, and food friendly. There are flavors of yellow peach, passionfruit, and honey with notes of ruby grapefruit and pecan. The crisp streak of acidity lingers for quite a while in the finish. Serve lightly chilled with shrimp pad Thai. – Mark
