Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Zinfandel from Limerick Lane opens with a black currant and cherry bouquet with hints of black plum, black olive, and cedar. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, super smooth, suave, and seamless. The flavor profile is a black cherry and stone dust blend with notes of gentle tobacco and oolong tea. We also detected hints of cola, blackberry, cedar, and a touch of dried strawberry. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its well-managed dusty tannins are nicely sustained. This wine checks all the boxes. We would pair this Zin with a porterhouse at your favorite steakhouse. Enjoy - KWGTP
