Wine Review: This clear and golden yellow colored Chardonnay from Domaine Anderson opens with a golden delicious apple bouquet with hints of white peach, pineapple, and faint honey. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is impressive! It is nicely balanced, very smooth, viscous, and rich. The flavor profile is a pineapple, oak, and golden delicious apple blend with notes of lemon and ginger. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this Chard with Emeril’s crab cakes or with lobster risotto. It will not last long. Enjoy – Ken!
