Wine Review: This clear and golden colored Chardonnay from Louis Latour opens with a green apple and lemon zest bouquet with hints of chamomile tea, grapefruit, and clay. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, leesy, and fresh. The flavor profile is a green apple and chamomile tea blend with notes of chalky minerality and grapefruit. I also detected hints of pineapple, almond, and lemon-lime. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity fade away nicely. I would pair this Chard with chamomile-butter poached cod with sweet pea purée. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our Pouilly-Fuissé 2023 has a bright and pale-yellow color, with a floral nose of acacia and honeysuckle. Full and round on the palate, it again reveals honeysuckle aromas associated with notes of fresh almond. The finish is long and persistent. Pair with shellfish, charcuterie, skate, or reblochon cheese.
