Wine Review: This almost clear colored Riesling from Dr. Loosen opens with a shy but inviting rose petal and light lemon bouquet with hints of tangerine, pineapple, and lychee. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is very bright, zesty, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is an Anjou pear and a tangy lemon-lime blend with notes of white pepper and saline. We also detected hints of light grapefruit zest and pineapple. The finish is off-dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. We would pair this refreshing Riesling with lemon pepper scallops or with lemon shortbread cookies for dessert. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: A precise and sophisticated Riesling Kabinett from one of the most revered vineyards in the Mosel valley. The famous "sundial" vineyard, in the village of Wehlen, produces the quintessential Mosel Riesling Kabinett: elegant and refined, with a racy texture and endless charm. The distinctive blue slate soil gives the wines a delicate, crisp acidity that perfectly balances the pure peach and lemon fruit. It’s a lively wine that dances gracefully on the palate.
