Wine Review: This clear and golden colored Chardonnay from Bezel opens with a pineapple and apricot bouquet with hints of lemon verbena, nectarine, and orange zest. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, creamy, and very approachable. The flavor profile is tasty mild pineapple and green tea blend with notes of lemon verbena and chalky minerality. I also detected hints of honeydew melon, lime zest, banana crème pie, and ginger. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this food friendly Chardonnay with a bay scallop chowder or with fish and chips. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Full of life. Our fresh-faced San Luis Obispo Coast Chardonnay is a character you can't wait to meet. Aromas of lemon zest and white peach with subtle notes of sesame seeds and a mouthwatering acidity. Uplifting flavors of lemon zest and Granny Smith apple shine bright, with juicy pear and the warm hug of vanilla spice.
