Wine Review: From the Rioja region of Spain, this deep red Tempranillo displays aromas of red plum, saddle leather, fresh red cherries, and topsoil. It is medium bodied and moderately acidic. The mouthfeel is quite smooth, slightly savory, juicy, lively, and approachable. This food friendly dry red wine has flavors of red plum, strawberry, green tea, dried herbs, and gentle oak. I also picked up some notes of clay and fig. Pleasant soft round tannins lead to a moderate length finish. Pop open a bottle to serve on Taco Tuesday. - Mark
