Wine Review: This deep ruby colored red blend from Pedroncelli opens with a black currant and graphite bouquet with hints of oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry and graphite blend with notes of oak and vanilla. I also detected hints of Earl grey tea, black cherry, black pepper, and loganberry. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and dusty tannins are nicely extended. This red blend paired nicely with a grilled New York strip steak off the grill. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: From the fruit-forward aromas to the lingering flavors, Sonoma Classico blends the characteristics of each grape seamlessly: red fruit with a touch of warm cooking spices; a rich and velvety taste with plum, spice, and dark berries. Smooth tannins and light toast notes highlight the rounded and lasting finish.
