Wine Review: This clear and pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Attems opens with a very fragrant and inviting tropical bouquet featuring passion fruit and mango with hints of yellow grapefruit and peach. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a green apple and stony minerality blend with notes of mild yellow grapefruit and lemon-lime. I also detected hints of asparagus and white peach pit. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this refreshing Italian Sauvignon Blanc with swordfish skewers. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Straw yellow in color, with green highlights, the Attems Sauvignon has captivating aromas of boxwood, lily of the valley and pomelo. The fresh sensations on the nose are also found in each sip. Combined with its light body, the mineral notes in this wine and the finish of wisteria and bergamot are particularly explosive.
