Wine Review: This clear and very pale coral colored Rosé from Tongue Dancer opens with a shy red raspberry and orange peel bouquet with hints of lime. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a mild watermelon and stone dust blend with notes of mild red cherry and hibiscus tea. I also detected hints of dried herbs. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely refreshing. I would pair this easy to drink Rosé slightly chilled by the pool. With food, pair it with fried calamari. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: What to do when Mother Nature bestows an abundance of sun mixed with a cool chill in the air? Well, you make Rosé. More specifically, you make a single vineyard Rosé. Introducing our newest vineyard - Fox Den. James saignéed the juice from its Pinot Noir tank after 8 hours of skin contact, put it in its own tank, and decided, SHAZAM! This is amazing all by herself! Flavors of hibiscus, blood orange, and sea salt. This Rosé opens-up the more you keep her in the glass.
