Wine Review: This crowd-pleasing, straw-colored Sparkling Wine from California is loaded with streams of small bubbles. It opens with Bosc pear, bread dough, white peach, wet slate, and lemon aromas. On the palate, this wine is medium-minus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is very frothy, balanced, crisp, clean, and slightly creamy. There are flavors of Bosc pear and pink grapefruit with a note of saline. I also detected hints of red raspberry and vanilla caramel. The finish is refreshing and moderate in length. Serve this versatile bubbly with pasta Alfredo. – Mark

Winemaker Notes: Playful aromas of freshly baked apple pie, a squeeze of citrus, French toast and roasted nuts spring forward from the glass. At first sip the creamy palate is greeted with flavors of ripe pear and toasted brioche paired with refreshing acidity. The fine bubbles dance on your tongue, leading to a clean and lively finish.
