Wine Review: This clear and straw-colored "Brut" sparkling wines from Patz & Hall displays many random streams of bubbles. The bouquet features pastry crust and marzipan aromas with hints of red apple and apricot. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. It displays a medium froth. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and fresh. The flavor profile is a green tea, tangy citrus, and bread dough blend with notes of lime zest and tonic water. We also detected hints of marzipan, tart green apple, and ginger. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely extended. We would pair this sparkling wine with broiled scallops or foie gras. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This is a complex and elegantly structured sparkling wine with a nose of toasted almond, Meyer lemon peel, yeasty brioche, and green apple. On the palate, a profound richness is tempered by mouthwatering acidity that supports unctuous flavors of white peach and tangerine along with lingering caramel-toffee notes on the uncompromisingly dry finish.
