Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega opens with a black currant and black cherry bouquet with hints of cigar box. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is beautifully balanced, smooth, seamless, and rich. The flavor profile is a very tasty black currant and acai berry blend with notes of cedar, graphite, and clove. We also detected hints of black licorice, menthol, and a touch of tobacco. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and well-managed sticky tannins display very good length. We would decant this wine for a little while before serving it with a well-marbled ribeye steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
