Wine Review: This translucent and medium ruby red colored Zinfandel from Limerick Lane opens with a relatively shy elderberry and black plum bouquet with hints of black cherry and balsamic glaze. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is superbly balanced, super smooth, and silk. The flavor profile is a gentle black cherry and spiced black plum blend with notes of oak and stone dust. We also detected hints of black pepper and black raspberry. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and refined moderate tannins linger nicely. We would pair this Zin with a filet mignon or your favorite beef Bolognese recipe. Enjoy - KWGTP
