Wine Review: This clear and pale golden straw-colored Chardonnay from V. Sattui opens with a gentle oak and pineapple bouquet with hints of tangerine and wet slate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, rich, and seamless. The flavor profile is a pineapple and oak blend with notes of vanilla and pear. We also detected hints of mango, ginger, and lime. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity fade away nicely. Winemaker Notes: Grown in the cool, southern reaches of Napa Valley, this Chardonnay reflects its coastal influence and long growing season with balance and finesse.
