Wine Review: This clear and red colored Pinot Noir from Calera opens with a gentle black cherry and teaberry gum bouquet with hints of cocoa and red plum. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, plush, and fresh. The flavor profile is a red raspberry and graphite blend with notes of cedar and strawberry. We also detected hints of light loam, sage, and green tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and well-managed and refined moderate tannins are nicely sustained. We would pair this Pinot with a pork tenderloin or veal scallopini. Enjoy - KWGTP
