Wine Review: This clear and pale ruby colored Pinot Noir from Gary Farrell opens with a pine sap and red plum bouquet with hints of wet stone and mushroom. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, round, and seamless. The flavor profile is a black plum and mild oolong tea blend with notes of oak and mushroom. We also detected hints of black pepper, black currant, cinnamon, and stone dust. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and gentle mild tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Pinot with Gordon Ramsay's roast pork recipe. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: A true representative of the stunning Russian River Valley appellation, this Pinot Noir opens with vibrant aromas of succulent red cherries and rose petals with swirl of brown baking spices and a touch of cedar. The broad, medium-bodied palate delivers more ripe red fruits, blood orange, and some savory earth notes, all supported by zesty acidity and fine tannins into the long, spicy finish.
