Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon based wine from Sena in Chile opens with a shy black cherry and tobacco bouquet with hints of pencil shavings and tar. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and savory. The flavor profile is a cocoa and black plum blend with notes of black cherry and graphite. We also detected hints of oolong tea and licorice. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and fine-grained tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this red blend with filet mignon. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Seña 2023 is a brilliant cherry-red color with violet hues. The nose presents complexity and elegance, highlighting fresh red fruits like currants, along with oral notes of lavender and a touch of graphite. In the background, delicate balsamic and spicy nuances emerge, reminiscent of incense and cigar box. On the palate, intense flavors of fresh red fruit are perceived, accompanied by so notes of marzipan, spicy notes of tobacco, toasted coffee, and licorice make an appearance. With excellent structure, its ne, polished tannins o er a fresh and elegant palate, with great persistence and balanced acidity, and remarkable linearity that enhances its freshness and precision. A wine with excellent aging potential.
