Wine Review: This clear and pale straw-colored Chenin Blanc from Ken Forrester opens with a fragrant Bosc pear and oak bouquet with hints of citrus and marzipan. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is wonderfully balanced and super smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty poached pear and gentle oak blend with notes of chamomile tea and vanilla pastry cream. We also detected hints of marzipan. The finish is dry and pleasantly refreshing. We would pair this marvelous South African Chenin Blanc with a pan-seared halibut with a garlic crab topping or with grilled king crab legs with garlic butter. Enjoy - Ken & Mark

Rich, layered with dried apricot, vanilla, and honey. Will gain additional complexity with cellaring. Enjoy with special friends as an exciting aperitif or with spiced dishes, even mild seafood/shellfish or curries. Great with exotic Eastern spiced foods.
