Wine Review: This bright, well-crafted Petit Manseng from Virginia is a deep golden yellow color and shows off aromas of yellow peach, dried apricot, lemon verbena and jasmine. The palate is medium-plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, very creamy, plush, fresh, and a just slightly off dry. There are flavors of ripe peach, chalky minerality, and lemon creme with notes of mango and sweet ginger. The finish is crisp and lingers for a long time. Serve lightly chilled with chicken and fresh corn chowder. - Mark
