Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Jambe de Bois opens with a pencil shavings and blackberry bouquet with hints of cedar, cinnamon, green olive, and black coffee. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and savory. The flavor profile is a blackberry and cedar blend with notes of stone dust and tart cherry. We also detected hints of green olive and prune. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate tannins are nicely extended. We would pair this Cab with a slow cooked Sunday roast beef. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The Moon Mountain Cabernet is made from organic grapes from the Moonridge vineyard high in the Mayacamas Mountains in Sonoma Valley. Playful acidity and notes of dark fruit.
