Wine Review: This clear and light red colored Pinot Noir from Cristom opens with a black raspberry, clay, and teaberry bouquet with hints of iris and cocoa. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth, fresh, lively, and savory. The flavor profile is a gentle red raspberry and lingonberry blend with notes of herbal tea and stony dust. We also detected hints of black pepper, craisin, herbs, and rhubarb. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate dusty tannins are nicely sustained. We would pair this Oregon Pinot with grilled salmon. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Electric red fruit aromas of Bing cherries, raspberries, and strawberries carry through to the palate, deepened by sultry bramble and herbaceous dried thyme. Full, elegant tannins guide the wine toward a long, graceful finish.
