Wine Review: This translucent and light straw-colored Riesling from Ravines is very good. It opens with a very fragrant white grapefruit and lime bouquet with hints of stone fruit. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, zesty, fresh, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a lime zest and paraffin wax blend with notes of light grapefruit. I also detected hints of tonic water and lemon verbena. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last nicely. I would pair this dry-styled Riesling with oysters on the half shell. Enjoy - Ken
