Wine Review: This clear and straw-colored Viognier from Calera opens with a white peach and lychee bouquet with hints of vanilla and honey. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, seamless, and fresh. The flavor profile is a white peach and tangerine blend with notes of mild apricot and light lemon. I also detected hints of gentle oak, honey, white pepper, and grapefruit pith. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely extended. I would pair this Viognier with sticky apricot chicken. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Crafted from our estate-grown Viognier at 2,200 feet, this radiant wine opens with aromas of white peach and lemongrass. The palate reveals layers of apricot and lemon zest, carried by a seamless texture that carries through to a layered, full finish.
