Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Franc from Zuccardi seriously over delivers for the money. It opens with a black currant bouquet with hints of red licorice and sandalwood. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, smooth, and savory. The flavor profile is a mild black currant and graphite blend with notes of stewed black plum, oak, and black pepper. I also detected hints of gentle licorice and black tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its dusty tannins stick around for quite some time. This wine benefits from some aeration. I would then pair this impressive Cab Franc with beef bourguignon. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Color: Red color with violet hues.
Aroma: Expresses a great herbal character with notes of fresh red fruits.
Flavor: Lively acidity and subtlety of tannins in the mouth.
