Wine Review: This clear and deep white gold colored Pinot Grigio from Frecciarossa opens with a fragrant and inviting Anjou pear and golden delicious apple bouquet with hints of lime. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is an Anjou pear and light lemon tea blend with notes of ginger ale and minerality. I also detected hints of saline. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely extended. I would pair this Pinot Grigio with crab cake sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
