Wine Review: This clear and brick red colored Pinot Noir from Lussier opens with a mild strawberry and wet gravel bouquet with hints of tobacco, raspberry, and cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a raspberry and loam blend with notes of red licorice and Dr. Pepper. We also detected hints of cranberry, black pepper, and a touch of tobacco. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and well-managed moderate dusty tannins are nicely extended. We would pair this Burgundy styled Pinot with a fork tender pot roast. Enjoy - KWGTP
