Wine Review: This purple-colored Zinfandel from J. Dusi in Paso Robles opens with a plump raisin and black raspberry bouquet with hints of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, juicy, and very fruit forward. The flavor profile is an extracted blackberry and ripe black currant blend with notes of stony minerality and orange zest. I also detected hints of raisin and fig. The flavors and gentle tannins linger nicely. This Zin would pair well with a tangy pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy – Ken
