Wine Review: This clear and brilliant white gold colored Garganega from Corte Mainente opens with a poached pear and honeydew melon bouquet with hints of lemon and green tea. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is a mild white peach and green tea blend with notes of stone dust and Anjou pear. I also detected hints of lemon. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this Soave with baked packet cod recipe. Enjoy – Ken
