Wine Review: This clear and medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Gros Ventre is excellent! It opens with a red cherry and cinnamon bouquet with hints of mild tobacco, red plum, and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is very well-balanced, smooth and graceful. The flavor profile is a plum and green tea blend with notes of stone dust, black pepper and mushroom. We also detected hints of mild spice, rhubarb, cherry, and orange peel. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and refined mild tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this terrific Pinot with German Jägerschnitzel (Hunter’s schnitzel with a brown mushroom gravy) or mushroom risotto. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Campbell Ranch has been one of our favorite sites since we started working with it in 2011, and the 2023 vintage captures its consistency and character beautifully. Located close to the Pacific, the site benefits from strong coastal influence, maintaining freshness and balance throughout the growing season. The wine is crafted from three Pinot Noir clones and handled with a restrained, thoughtful approach with minimal intervention during fermentation and aging—allowing the vineyard to speak clearly in the glass.
