Wine Review: This clear and light red colored Pinot Noir from Dog Bone opens with a cherry and teaberry gum bouquet with hints of new leather, raspberry, and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is a slightly tart plum and cedar plank blend with notes of cranberry, teaberry gum, and sauteed mushroom. We also detected hints of loam, cherry, cola, and black pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and fine tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Pinot with Sheri’s sausage stuffed mushrooms. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Dog Bone is a serious wine with a fun label! We wanted to make a great wine at a fair price and help dogs across the country. 10% of all profits will go to Humane Societies in places we sell Dog Bone. Sales of this wine are also helping North Coast Grape farmers by finding a home for their excess grapes.

The 2024 growing season delivered ripe, clean fruit with great flavors. The nose has notes of cherry blossom and rose hips. On the palate the wine shows ripe black cherry and cola notes and has beautiful balance.
