Wine Review: This slightly hazy and dark ruby colored red blend from Merriam opens with a cedar and currant bouquet with hints of black raspberry and toasted marshmallow. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, fresh, and approachable. The flavor profile is a plum and graphite blend with notes of light raspberry and gentle oak. We also detected hints of sage and basil. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and mild tannins fade away nicely. We would pair this red blend with your favorite steak burrito. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Notes of bright black fruits such as blackberry and plum lead the nose, accompanied by hints of cranberry and tobacco leaf. This wine offers a firm tannic structure along with a soft, silky texture, making it perfect for daily enjoyment.
