Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Peter Zemmer opens with a pomegranate and red currant bouquet with hints of violet, cedar, and loam. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and a little savory. The flavor profile is a loam and slightly tart red currant blend with notes of raspberry tea and graphite. I also detected hints of pomegranate, rhubarb, and cedar. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and fine dusty tannins are nicely sustained. I would pair this Pinot Noir with lamb lollipops. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Intense and brilliant ruby red in color, this wine boasts rich, fine notes of berries and sour cherries on the nose. On the palate, it is harmoniously round, balanced, and soft. Compact and elegant with rich berry fruit flavors. Pair with red meats, lamb, or game.
