Wine Review: This clear and very pale pink colored Italian Rosé from Frescobaldi opens with a very shy rose petal and wild strawberry bouquet with hints of guava. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, pleasantly smooth, and a little zesty. The flavor profile is a light lime and fine stone dust blend with notes of mild apricot and white pepper. I also detected hints of green tea, guava, and just a touch of pineapple at the very end. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity slowly drift away. I would pair this delicate style Rosé with a Ritz cracker encrusted baked cod. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Alie 2025 has a beautiful pale pink color, tinged with a hint of peach. Its intriguing and elegant bouquet brings to mind citrus sensations of grapefruit that blend with notes of ripe fresh fruit and floral hints of rose and peony. It continues with notes of Mediterranean herbs and sea spray. On the palate, it is savory and fresh. It offers a remarkable balance between taste and aroma. The 2025 vintage of Alìe also reveals a passionate character.
