Wine Review: This dark ruby colored warm climate Syrah from Anarchy opens with a marionberry and cinnamon bouquet with hints of tobacco, violets, and cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and fresh. The flavor profile is a blueberry and stone dust blend with notes of tobacco. We also detected hints of anise and oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its dusty fine tannins stick around for quite a while. We would pair this Syrah with a pulled pork platter or bring it to a pig roast! Enjoy - Ken & Mark
