Wine Review: This hazy and dark ruby colored Syrah from Kobler opens with a black plum and blueberry bouquet with hints of black licorice, graphite, and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and very fresh. The flavor profile is a juicy black plum and slightly tart red currant blend with notes of crushed stone and oolong tea. We also detected hints of fresh cracked black pepper, mushroom, and lingonberry. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and gentle fine tannins linger nicely. We would pair this Syrah with steak tips or grilled Italian sweet sausage. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2022 Kobler Family Vineyards Syrah" is dark purple and produced in the Hermitage style with 100% Syrah from Kobler Family Vineyards. This Syrah opens with notes of blackberry, pine duft, and bacon fat with tones of violets and white pepper. On the palate, the Kobler Family Vineyards Syrah is medium bodied with balanced acidity and has medium-plus tannins with a velvety finish.
