Wine Review: This hazy and dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Domaine Anderson opens with a very fragrant cranberry and musty forest floor bouquet with hints of rhubarb and red beets. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, gentle, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a savory blend of stewed plum and spice with notes of clove and boysenberry. I also detected hints of loam and licorice. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and fine tannins fade away nicely. I would pair this elegant Pinot Noir with grilled teriyaki salmon. Enjoy – Ken
