Wine Review: This very tropical, low-alcohol Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand is pale straw colored with vibrant aromas of white grapefruit, lemongrass, lily flowers, and thyme. Very approachable on the palate, it has a medium-minus body with integrated medium-plus acidity. I found it displays a mouthwatering, fresh, and smooth mouthfeel. The flavor profile features sweet and tart flavors like grapefruit, pineapple, herbal tea and starfruit, along with notes of bell pepper and mango. The finish is crisp and tangy. Serve chilled with grilled shrimp with a tropical fruit salsa. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: The wine features a pale straw color with greens. This lively wine opens with bursts of lime and gooseberry on the nose, and citrus flavors. The wine is complimented by tropical and passion fruit notes. The body shows approachable citrus acidity in perfect balance with the ripe fruit flavors leading to a clean crisp finish.
