Wine Review: This Grenache based Côtes Du Rhône red blend is a brilliant medium red color, with vibrant aromas of red raspberry, red currant, violets, leather, and dried herbs. Quite robust on the palate, it is fresh, medium bodied, moderately acidic, dry, structured, and slightly astringent. I found flavors of black raspberry, cranberry, mild minerality, gentle oak, and a note of roasted cherries. The finish was drying with fine grained tannins that linger for quite a while. This wine would go well with a pot roast with earthy root vegetables. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep garnet red.
Nose: Intense, fruity (black currant/ raspberry) and complemented by notes of white pepper.
Palate: This wine is juicy, powerful, and fruity (red fruits notes) on the palate, with lovely roasted notes. There are silky and delicate tannins.
Pair with grilled and roasted red meats. Also pairs beautifully with pasta with a lamb ragu.
