Wine Review: This clear and bright red colored unoaked Cabernet Franc from Lamoreaux Landing opens with a red raspberry and matchstick bouquet with hints of lingonberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and very fresh. The flavor profile is a mild loam and red plum blend with notes of black tea and dried herbs. I also detected faint hints of red licorice. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and mild dusty tannins linger nicely. I would drink this wine slightly chilled this summer. With food I would pair this Cab Franc with a Swiss veal and wild mushroom stew. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Delicate herbal aromatics laced with black pepper open to a lush palate of dark cherry and dried cranberry, while hints of cedar and black tea create structure and complexity. Pairs beautifully with venison, lamb kebabs, and grilled vegetables.
