Wine Review: This translucent and dark red colored Pinot Noir from Merry Edwards opens with a red licorice and pomegranate bouquet with hints of craisin, red cherry, and violets. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, polished, and seamless. The flavor profile is a red cherry and slightly tart red plum blend with notes of cedar and loam. We also detected hints of pomegranate tea, cinnamon, clove, and saline. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and gentle tannins fade away nicely. We would pair this Pinot with tea infused orange duck bites with brie. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Our 2023 Dach Pinot offers a nose of crushed ripe cherries, violets, spice cake, and vanilla. The entry features fine-grained tannins with notes of fresh forest air and pomegranate leading to an elegant finish with lingering hints of blood orange.
