Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Caberlot from Carnasciale opens with a cedar and cherry bouquet with hints of violets and thyme. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is very well-balanced, smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is a delicious red cherry and cedar blend with notes of red currant and red licorice. We also detected hints of pomegranate and cola. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and polished fine tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Caberlot with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken & Mark

Winemaker Notes: The Caberlot grape is believed to be a natural crossing between Cabernet Franc and Merlot.
