Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Malbec from Vina Cobos opens with a balsamic glaze and black plum bouquet with hints of cedar and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, smooth, bright, and very fresh. The flavor profile is a blackberry and spiced black plum blend with notes of tobacco and black licorice. I also detected hints of black pepper, cedar, and espresso. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and sensible tannins. I would pair this Malbec with sizzling steak fajitas. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Deep red color and violet tones. Aromas of plum, blueberries, menthol, and hints of floral essence. On the palate, it is concentrated, has good balance, and is juicy with a pure long finish.
