Wine Review: This almost clear Sauvignon Blanc from Craggy Range opens with a very fragrant yellow grapefruit and gooseberry bouquet with hints of fresh peeled ginger and tomato leaf. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth, fresh, mouthwatering, and zesty. The flavor profile is a gooseberry and white grapefruit pith blend with notes of lime zest and ginger. We also detected hints of white pepper and green tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for quite some time. We would serve this Sauvignon Blanc slightly chilled at the beach or pool this summer. With food try it with grilled swordfish skewers or a grilled swordfish sandwich. Enjoy - Ken & Mark

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of white flowers and blossom enfold freshly cut peaches and passionfruit. On the palate, the fruit and floral notes are bright and expressive, intertwined with hints of preserved lemon and key lime. The wine is fresh, elegant, and textural, with a saline minerality imparted by the river stones that it was grown on.
