Wine Review: This slightly hazy and medium ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from William Cole opens with a lingonberry and craisin bouquet with hints of red plum, terracotta, and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, crisp, and fruit focused. The flavor profile is a ripe lingonberry and craisin blend with notes of bell pepper and dried coconut flakes. We also detected hints of red raspberry, oolong tea, kalamata olive, and cedar. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate fine-grained tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Cabernet Sauvignon with grilled salmon and venison stew. Enjoy - KWGTP
