Wine Review: An easy drinking Pinot Noir from Oregon, this wine is a pale garnet color, showing aromas of strawberry Twizzler, maraschino cherry, and turned soil. The palate is bright and juicy, medium bodied, moderately acidic, pure, delicate, and slightly lean. The flavors include red raspberry jam, green tea, chalky minerality, and wood spice. There is also a hint of cedar and potpourri florals. Some light dusty tannins persist in the dry, moderate length finish. Serve with a turkey pot pie with vegetables. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Dark ruby in color and filled with fruity aromatics, our 2023 Pinot Noir is seductive but approachable. On the palate, a lively combination of bright cherries, raspberries and marionberries is backed by notes of clove, vanilla, and orange zest. Beneath these lively flavors is a warm underlayment of mushroom and forest floor. This light-bodied wine shows zestful acidity and delicate tannins.
