Wine Review: This clear and light red colored Pinot Noir from Dutton Goldfield opens with a red raspberry and dried strawberry bouquet with hints of sage, teaberry, and nutmeg. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and approachable. The flavor profile is a dried strawberry and vanilla blend with notes of red raspberry and red licorice. We also detected hints of cola and lime zest. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and friendly gentle tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Pinot Noir with a salmon burger or grilled Greek lamb kabobs. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This wine greets you with bright red fruit aromas of cherry and strawberry, layered with hibiscus tea, dusty rose, and a hint of baking spice. On the palate, it’s silky and graceful, unfolding in waves of pure fruit and floral nuance. The wine’s round, elegant mouthfeel glides into a long, lingering finish, capturing the poise and finesse that make this coastal site so distinctive. This Pinot Noir is a versatile companion to a variety of dishes, pairing beautifully with a lamb, mushroom, and Brie burger, wild mushroom risotto, cedar-plank salmon, or sausage and Parmesan stuffed mushrooms.
