Wine Review: This wine opens with a rich bouquet that is intense and deep. On the palate, the wine is fruity, very flavorful, and dry. The finish is long and lingers with a lasting tingle and fades with a long lasting dryness. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Wow, was this a ripe vintage! Before your nose even makes it to the glass, you can smell the jammy raspberry fruit. The oak component offers inviting vanilla and beeswax aromas in the nose as well. In the mouth, there is expansive wild berry and raspberry flavors. While from a hot vintage, this wine is exceedingly sleek and feminine. Racy white pepper and oriental spice flavors linger on the finish, and it has a pleasantly low alcohol level. This well-balanced wine can be enjoyed with a wide variety of Italian dishes, soups, ribs, stews and cassoulets.
