Wine Review: Here is a wine that fooled the tasting panel. The bouquet of this wine opened quite musty and earthy. It was not inviting at all. However, with time the musty aroma’s faded. However, on the palate the wine was quite round, lively, and it was tasty. It is not an overly complex wine, but it will match nicely with many foods. The wine finishes nicely and is dry. Decant this wine to aerate the bouquet and enjoy. KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The color is extremely dark purple. In the aroma you will find copious quantities of ripe berries, blackberries, huckleberries, black licorice and leather, a light flavor of clove and luscious black sweet cherries. This is a full bodied wine with a lingering finish of black current, berries, vanilla, and toast. This is the wine you want to enjoy with friends and fine food.
