Wine Review: This wine was a wonderful complement to our Thanksgiving dinner. This dark purple wine opens with a very spicy black cherry like bouquet with hints of smoke. On the palate, this full bodied wine is well balanced and displays delicious and irresistible lack cherry flavors with hints of raspberry. The finish is dry and fades away quickly. We all really enjoyed this wine. As second glass is a must and I am thankful I have a second bottle. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: From a winemaker's perspective this is a dandy reason to have a diminished crop. These tiny berries add a lot of flavor since there is a higher ratio of skin to juice and a lower ratio of bitter seeds. This vintage is intense: lots of berry, cherry flavors with a patina of toasty oak.
