Wine Review: I was very impressed with this top shelf Syrah from Austin Hope Winery in Paso Robles, CA. This rich dark purple wine opens with a fairly good sized bouquet that expresses a touch of oak. On the palate, the wine is dense, rich, and concentrated. This is a wonderful wine. The finish is long and persistent. This is an Excellent wine and you should go out of your way to find some. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Austin Hope Syrah is an estate wine. A blend of two clones from France, the 2003 vintage has a beautifully extracted deep color, and offers aromas of violet, blueberry, spice notes and subtle smoked meat. The wine shows good structure, with seamless tannins and a lush, elegant mouthfeel.
