Winemaker Notes: The Swanson 2006 pinot grigio is phenomenally crisp and fresh. The aroma is layered with litchi, grapefruit, lemon zest, pear and peach. Flavors in the mouth echo these fruits perfectly. The wine is surprisingly long and broad on the palate, and evokes the memory of fresh, perfectly ripe pinot grigio grapes. Enjoy this wine alone as an aperitif, or as a versatile accompaniment to all white wine-friendly cuisine.
